Inspection

1. Check final drive for excessive damage.




2. Check final drive endplay as shown.If endplay is not within 0.009 - 0.025 inch;



then replace washers (806/807) shown.

3. Check internal gear and sun gear for damaged teeth or bearing surface.

4. Check thrust bearings, sun gear and governor drive gear for damage or wear.
