Fig. 10 Stabilizer Bar Installation:

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Install engine support tool No. J-28467 or equivalent.
3. Raise and support vehicle, allowing control arms to hang free.
4. Remove left front tire and wheel assembly.
5. Disconnect stabilizer bar from arms, then from support assemblies.
6. Loosen front support attaching bolts, then remove rear and center support bolts. Allow supports to drop down enough to remove stabilizer bar, Fig. 10.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Before tightening any attaching bolts, ensure stabilizer bar is centered in chassis. Refer to Fig. 10, for tighten specifications.
