INFORMATION ON REPLACEMENT OF GUIDE LOOP COVERS ON FRONT SEAT BELTS

1991-93 CORSICA AND BERETTA
If one of the guide loop covers on the front seat belts of some 1991-93 "L" cars becomes broken or is found to be missing, a replacement guide loop cover is available separate from the seat belt assembly itself. The seat belt assembly DOES NOT need to be replaced when there is a problem with the guide loop cover.
1. Remove bolt holding the guide loop to the pillar using J23457 - seat belt anchor tool.
2. Remove the guide loop cover from the guide loop.
3. Install new guide loop cover.
4. Install bolt to pillar, tighten to 42 N-m (31 lbs.ft.) using J23457 - seat belt anchor tool, and snap new guide loop cover into place over the guide loop and anchor bolt.
