Coolant Temperature Gauge Always Reads Hot (Caprice)

Disconnect coolant temperature sender/switch. If gauge indicates cold, replace coolant temperature switch/sender. If gauge still indicates hot, check IPC printed circuit and Dark Green/White wire for a short to ground. If wire is okay, repair coolant temperature gauge.
