Coolant Temperature Gauge Always Reads Cold

(Beretta, Camaro, Cavalier, Corsica & Lumina)

Disconnect coolant temperature sender/switch. Using a jumper wire, connect harness half of connector (Dark Green or Dark Green/White wire) to ground. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. If gauge does not indicate cold, replace coolant temperature sender/switch. If gauge indicates cold, check for open circuit in Dark Green wire and repair as necessary. If wire is okay, replace IPC.
