Indicator Inoperative (Cavalier)

  1. Disconnect tailgate switch. Install jumper wire between Black/Orange wire of connector and ground. Turn ignition on.
  2. If indicator light illuminates, replace tailgate switch. If indicator does not illuminate, check for open circuit in wire from switch to IPC or for defective IPC.
