Indicator Inoperative (Caprice)
- Using a voltmeter, measure voltage at tailgate ajar switch terminal "D" (Dark Green wire) to ground. If no voltage is present, check for poor connection at IPC connector terminal No. 10 (Dark Green wire). If connector and wire are okay, repair IPC printed circuit.
- If battery voltage is present, backprobe tailgate ajar switch connector terminal "D" (Dark Green wire) to tailgate ajar switch terminal "B" (Black wire). If no voltage is present, check tailgate ajar switch ground (Black wire).
