Oil Pressure Gauge Always Reads High
- Disconnect fuel pump switch/oil pressure sender connector. Using a jumper wire, jump terminal "A" (Tan or Tan/Black wire) of fuel pump switch/oil pressure sender to ground. Turn ignition switch to RUN position.
- If gauge indicates low oil pressure, replace fuel pump switch/oil pressure sender. If gauge indicates high oil pressure, check for an open circuit in Tan or Tan/Black wire. If wire is okay, replace IPC.
