Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal: Installation
- Coat entire seal with engine oil. Install seal using Seal Installer (J-35621) until installer bottoms. See Fig 1 . Align crankshaft dowel to proper flywheel hole.
- Install flywheel/flexplate-to-crankshaft bolts, and tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table at end of article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
