Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Inspection

Check camshaft for scratches, pits and loose fitting in bearings. Check camshaft journal diameter and lobe lift. See CAMSHAFT table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article. Replace camshaft if damaged or not to specification.
