Shock Absorber: Installation

NOTE: Numbers in parenthesis refer to components and procedures identified in illustrations.
  1. Install the shock absorber (6) to the vehicle. See Figure.
  2. Install the lower shock bolt (5), washer (4), and nut (3). See Figure.
  3. Install the upper shock bolt (2) and nut (1).
  4. Tighten the lower nut, then tighten the upper nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
