Floor-Mounted Shifter (4-Speed Od 89MM)

1. Loosen all shift rod adjustment nuts at transmission shift levers. See Fig 1. Move shift control levers to Neutral position. Move 3 transmission shift levers into Neutral by moving levers forward to first detent then back one detent.
2. Put 1/4" gauge pin through control levers at shifter assembly base. Hold shift rods forward tightly in their swivels and tighten adjustment nuts. Remove gauge pin. Lubricate swivel joints and shift control linkage.
