Rear Bearing Retainer Oil Seal: Removal

Raise and support vehicle. Drain transmission fluid. Disconnect propeller shaft from transmission and secure it out of way. Remove parking brake assembly (if equipped). Disconnect speed sensor electrical connector from transmission.
Remove output yoke nut and output yoke from transmission. Support transmission with jack. Remove transmission mount bolts and transmission mount. Remove bearing retainer bolts. Remove bearing retainer and gasket. Remove oil seal. See Figure.
