Bushing Replacement (G20/2500 W/6.2 Diesel)
- Remove lower control arm. See LOWER CONTROL ARM in this article. Remove nuts and washers from control arm shaft.
- Use Control Arm Bushing Set (J-24435-A
) for bushing replacement. Using Removers (J-24435-1
and J-24435-3
) and "C" Clamp (J-24435-7
), remove one bushing from control arm. See Fig 1. Remove control arm shaft. Repeat procedure and remove remaining bushing.
- To install bushings, use Installer (J-24435-4
and J-24435-5
) and "C" Clamp (J-24435-7
). See Fig 2. Install one bushing. Install control arm shaft and repeat procedure for remaining bushing installation. Install lower control arm.
