Leaf Spring & Bushings: Removal

- Raise and support vehicle. Place adjustable jack stand under axle. Lift axle until all tension is relieved from leaf spring assembly. Remove wheels. Detach shackle-to-frame upper mounting nut and bolt. Detach front spring eye bolt and nut.
- On V10/1500 & V20/2500 and left side of V30/3500 models, remove nuts, washers, "U" bolts, plate and spacers. On right side of V30/3500 models, remove bolts, nuts, washers, "U" bolts, plate and spacers. Remove spring. Remove shackle from springs.
