Outer CV Joint: Disassembly

- Using side cutter pliers, cut dust boot clamps. Pull boot back from CV joint. Using Snap Ring Pliers (J-8059), spread retaining ring ears apart and pull axle shaft out of CV cage. Slide CV dust boot off of axle shaft.
- Using a brass drift and hammer, gently tap on cage until it's tilted enough to remove the first ball. Repeat procedure to remove the remaining balls. Rotate inner race at a 90 degree angle to cage and remove race.
