Removal & Installation ("C" & "K" Series)

  1. Disconnect hydraulic lines from EHCU. Disconnect electrical connectors from EHCU. Remove EHCU bracket-to-body bolts. Remove EHCU and bracket from vehicle as an assembly. Remove bracket from EHCU.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Bleed brake system, including EHCU. See BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM . DO NOT overtighten EHCU-to-bracket bolts during installation. This may cause excessive noise transfer into vehicle. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
