Intake Manifold: Installation
- Install gaskets on cylinder head, noting rear location of coolant passage restriction and any special instructions included in gasket set.
- Apply 3/16" bead of silicone sealer at front and rear intake manifold mounting surface of cylinder block. See Fig 1. Extend bead of sealer 1/2" up each cylinder head.

- Install intake manifold. Install manifold retaining bolts. Tighten bolts in sequence to specification. See Fig 2. See the TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table in this article. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
