Trip Odometer Does Not Reset
- Check for inoperative cluster control switch or wiring. Disconnect large 17-pin connector from cluster. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between cluster connector pin A5 and ground. See Figure.
- Resistance should be zero in one position and open in the other. If switch does not respond as indicated, repair Light Green/Black wire between cluster and switch, replace switch, or repair Black wire from switch to ground.
- If switch and related wiring are okay, replace inoperative instrument cluster.
