- Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove light switch trim plate and disconnect light switch harness. Remove A/C-heater control assembly and disconnect A/C-heater control assembly harness.
- Remove filler panel (lower steering column panel). See Fig 1. Remove instrument cluster housing nuts and cluster. Touch hands to ground to discharge static electricity before pulling out instrument cluster to disconnect harness connections and remove cluster. To install, reverse removal procedure and follow Electrostatic Discharge Warning Label.
