Washer Motor Does Not Operate
- Turn ignition switch to RUN and place wiper/washer switch in WASH. Connect test lamp from White wire at washer motor connector to ground. Check for voltage. If no voltage is present, locate and repair open in White wire between washer pump and fuse block. If voltage exists, go to next step.
- Connect test lamp from White wire to Pink wire at washer motor connector. If voltage is present, replace washer pump. If voltage is not present, go to next step.
- Connect a fuse jumper from Pink wire at wiper/washer switch connector to ground. If washer motor does not pump, locate and repair open in Pink wire between washer motor and wiper/washer switch. If washer motor pumps, go to next step.
- Connect a fusible jumper from Black wire at wiper/washer switch connector to ground. If washer motor does not pump, replace wiper/washer switch. If washer pumps, locate and repair open in Black wire between wiper/washer switch and ground.
