Water Pump: Installation

  1. Install plate and gasket on water pump. Tighten bolts to specification. Apply anaerobic sealant to sealing surface of plate. Sealant must be wet to touch when installing water pump.
  2. Coat water pump retaining bolts threads with Sealant (1052080). Install water pump and tighten all bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
