Disassembly (Cam Unit w/ 9 1/2" Ring Gear)

Measure and record overall length of gear assembly from front of gear to back of thrust sleeve, including thrust washer. Remove guide clips. Using press and Bearing Remover (J-22912-01), press thrust sleeve from left side gear. Remove guide clips, wave spring and cam plate from left side gear.
