Cylinder Head: Removal
- Disconnect battery negative cable and drain coolant. Remove intake manifold, exhaust manifold(s) and valve cover(s) as previously described. Disconnect ground cable to cowl. Remove accessories and brackets as necessary.
- Remove rocker arm bolts, rocker arm pivots, rocker arms and push rods. Note location for installation. If rear cylinder head bolts and/or push rods can not be removed, remove them with cylinder head. Remove cylinder head bolts, cylinder head and gasket.
