Water Pump Remove

Water Pump:

Remove or Disconnect

1. Drain coolant from the radiator.

2. Remove accessory drive belt/s.

3. Remove fan clutch nuts (75).

4. Remove Fan (73), fan clutch (74) and the pulley (70) from the water pump (91).

5. Remove Generator lower brace attaching bolts. Swing the brace down and out of the way.

6. Remove Generator upper brace attaching bolts.

7. Remove Lower radiator hose and heater hose from the water pump.

8. Remove Bolts (92 and 93) and studs.

9. Remove Water pump (91) from the engine block.

^ Clean the mating surfaces on the water pump and the engine block. Inspect all components for defects.
