Valve Guide
- Using Valve Guide Remover/Installer (J-35267), drive out valve guide toward combustion chamber side of head. Apply engine oil to outside of replacement valve guide.
- Install valve guide using Valve Guide Remover/Installer (J-35267) from camshaft side of head. Drive in valve guide until valve guide protrudes .669" (17 mm) from top of cylinder head. See Fig 1 . Ream valve guide as necessary.
