Rocker Shaft Assembly & Camshaft: Removal

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Align timing mark on crankshaft pulley so mark on crank pulley is aligned with zero degree mark on front cover. Remove rocker cover. Loosen camshaft pulley bolts. Ensure crankshaft and camshaft do not rotate.
2. Loosen timing belt tensioner and remove belt from camshaft pulley. Remove rocker shaft assemblies. See Fig 1 . Remove camshaft pulley. Remove distributor. Remove camshaft from cylinder head. Remove camshaft seal.
