Cylinder Head: Inspection

Check exhaust manifold, intake manifold and block mating surfaces. Repair or replace cylinder head as necessary. Maximum manifold surface warpage is .016" (.40 mm). Maximum head gasket surface warpage is .016" (.40 mm).

NOTE: DO NOT remove more than .016" (.40 mm) material when resurfacing cylinder head. Standard head thickness is 3.386" (86.00 mm).
