Removal (EFI Turbo Engines)

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove upper, lower and manifold heat shields. Disconnect turbocharger pipe from throttle valve assembly and air cleaner.
  2. Raise vehicle and disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold. Remove turbocharger assembly from wastegate manifold. Remove exhaust manifold and check for cracks or warpage.
