Stabilizer Bar: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle. Detach nut from link bolt. Remove bolt, retainers, rubber grommets and spacer. Repeat procedure for opposite side.
  2. Detach bracket-to-frame (or body) mounting bolts. Remove stabilizer shaft (with rubber insulator bushings) and brackets. Inspect insulator bushings and link bolt grommets for damage or deterioration and replace as necessary.
