Removal & Installation (Rear Cable)

  1. Release parking brake. Raise and support vehicle. Loosen nut at parking brake cable equalizer and remove cable connector.
  2. Remove parking brake cable from rear brake assembly. Bend all parking brake cable retaining fingers at the backing plate and remove cable end from backing plate. Remove parking brake cable. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure all retaining fingers are through the hole on the backing plate.
