Digital Cluster

  1. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. All display should light to full brightness for 2 seconds. All analog bar graph displays should cycle from a full scale to a normal reading in 2 seconds. All digital display readouts cycle to present readings.
  2. Choose each function of the function select switches. Change cluster from English to Metric display. All readouts, except fuel display, should appear in both English and Metric units.
  3. Shine a flashlight or drop light at digital cluster. Digital display brightness should increase in response to photocell. Place light switch in "PARK" position. Adjust instrument panel dimmer. Digital display brightness should change as dimmer is turned.
  4. Turn dimmer down to minimum brightness. Shine a light on digital cluster once again. Digital display should dim as dimmer is turned down, then get brighter when light is shined on cluster.
