Fuel Display Shows Full Constantly

  1. Check fuel tank sending unit ground and ground connection. If ground connections are okay, connect fused jumper wire between grounds and Pink wire of fuel tank sending unit connector.
  2. Turn ignition switch to "RUN" position. If fuel display now reads empty, replace fuel tank sending unit. If display still reads full, check circuit (Pink wire) back to instrument panel connector. Check terminal C8 for open. If circuit is okay, check fuel display connections. If connections are good, replace the instrument cluster.
