Fuel Display Inaccurate
- Disconnect fuel gauge sender connector. Connect one Red clip lead of Instrument Panel Tester (J-33431) to terminal B (Pink wire). Connect the other clip to terminal A (Black wire) of the harness half. Set dials of tester to zero ohms, at 45 ohms, and then at 90 ohms. The fuel gauge should display "EMPTY", "1/2", and then "FULL".
- If fuel gauge responds correctly replace fuel gauge sender. If fuel gauge does not respond correctly, check Pink wire to the instrument cluster printed circuit for high resistance. If okay, replace the instrument cluster.
