Shows Cold When Engine Is Warm Or Hot (Caused By Open In Circuit)

1) Remove connector from coolant temperature sensor. Connect fused jumper wire from connector Dark Green wire to ground. Place ignition switch in "RUN" position.

2) If coolant temperature display now reads 330°F (166°C), replace the coolant temperature sending unit. If the coolant temperature display does not indicate 330°F (166°C), check Dark Green wire for an open. If the Dark Green wire is okay, replace the instrument cluster.
