Shift Rail Detent/Clutch & Differential Housing

1. Refer to accompanying image, and proceed as follows:

a. Remove bearing (22) and detent holder cover (174). Puncture cover in the middle and pry off.

b. Remove attaching bolts (175).

c. Remove holder, detent (169), springs (170) and interlock pins (168).

d. Remove balls and detent (171).

e. Remove bushing (167). Pry loose bushing from assembly. Use two small pry bars and pry into slots.
