Coolant Cavity Cover

Coolant Cavity Cover Assembly:






REMOVE
- Throttle body from intake plenum. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly. Throttle Body

DISASSEMBLE
- Coolant cover attaching screws.
- Coolant cavity cover and O-ring.
- Discard O-ring.

CLEANING AND INSPECTION
- Clean O-ring sealing surfaces
- Inspect sealing surfaces for corrosion or damage that could cause a coolant leak.
- Replace coolant cavity cover or throttle body if necessary.

ASSEMBLE
- Lubricate new coolant cover to throttle body O-ring with ethylene glycol antifreeze.
- O-ring in cavity of throttle body.
- Coolant cavity cover.
- Hold cover in place.
- Coolant cover attaching screws,
- Tighten coolant cover attaching screws to 3.0 Nm (27 lb in.).

INSTALL
- Throttle body to intake plenum. Refer to Throttle Body Assembly. Throttle Body
