Engine (Samurai): Installation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1990 Suzuki Swift, 1990 Suzuki Sidekick, and 1990 Suzuki Samurai. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Lower engine and transaxle/transmission into vehicle. Install rear mount nut. Raise vehicle and support engine. Remove front mount and bracket at frame.
  2. Align stud of motor mount with hole in engine bracket. Lower engine and install bolts into frame bracket. Tighten bolts to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
NOTE: Install chain hoist on hooks provided. Hooks are located on intake manifold and exhaust manifold side of engine.
