Shift Linkage: Adjustments
Adjust Clutch Pedal Height
Using clutch pedal stop bolt, adjust height of clutch pedal so it is even with brake pedal.

Adjust Clutch Release Arm Play
1. Move arm by hand and check that arm play is .08-.16 inch.
2. If play is out of specification, loosen or tighten clutch cable joint nut as necessary, Fig. 1.
Adjust Clutch Start Switch
1. Apply parking brake firmly and place shift lever in Neutral position.
2. Disconnect wiring from switch.
3. Loosen locknut and screw switch out.
4. Depress clutch pedal completely to floor. Allow pedal to come up .4-1.1 inch from floor.
5. Connect ohmmeter to switch. Slowly screw switch in until it is on. Hold switch in this position, and tighten locknut to 8-11 ft. lbs.
6. Connect wiring to switch.

Adjust Shift Linkage
1. Loosen gear shift control housing nuts and guide plate bolts.
2. Adjust guide plate by moving it forwards or backwards until shift lever is positioned in middle of guide plate and at a right angle, Fig. 2.
3. When guide plate is positioned properly, tighten guide plate bolts and housing nuts.
