Camshaft & Sprockets (Swift DOHC): Installation

  1. Lubricate camshaft lobes and camshaft bearing journals. Install camshaft in cylinder head. Install camshaft bearing caps and tighten in sequence (if equipped). See Fig 2 . Install camshaft sprocket.
  2. Ensure that camshaft sprocket mark is aligned with timing mark on cylinder head. See Figure and Figure . Reverse removal procedure to complete installation.
