Oil Pan: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support vehicle.
3. Drain engine oil, then disconnect exhaust pipe bracket from block.
4. Disconnect exhaust pipe from exhaust manifold.
5. Disconnect right hand tension rod under bumper.
6. Remove oil pan attaching bolts and the oil pan.
7. Reverse procedure to install. Ensure pan and cylinder case mating surfaces are clean prior to mounting pan.
