Master Cylinder: Disassembly

  1. Drain fluid and remove reservoir. Remove snap ring from end of cylinder. Apply low pressure compressed air to rear reservoir port and force out primary piston.
    NOTE: Be careful not to drop primary and secondary pistons on floor when using compressed air for removal.
  2. Remove secondary piston by removing piston stop bolt from bottom of master cylinder and applying low pressure compressed air in stop bolt hole.
