Pedal Height

  1. Brake pedal height is normal if brake pedal is same height as clutch pedal. With power brake unit removed from vehicle, check distance between power brake unit mounting surface (with gasket installed), and center of brake push rod clevis pin.
  2. Distance must be about 6.07" (154 mm) for Spectrum and between 4.94-4.98" (125.5-126.5 mm) on Sprint. Adjust by loosening lock nut on push rod and turning clevis to lengthen or shorten. Retighten lock nut against clevis.
