Steering Column Lock: Installation

  1. Align oblong steering shaft hole with hole in steering column. Turn ignition switch to "ON" position. Install steering lock assembly onto column.
  2. Turn ignition switch to "LOCK" position. Remove key. Align hub on lock with oblong steering shaft hole. Rotate shaft to ensure shaft is locked.
  3. Tighten 2 new lock mounting bolts until heads shear off. Install steering column.
