Unusual Noises

1. Check exhaust system for loose connections or leakage.
2. Check to ensure proper installation of nozzles and glow plugs.
3. Check for damaged cylinder head gasket.
4. Check to ensure valve clearances are satisfactory. Refer to specifications.
5. Check compression pressure in each cylinder. Standard value should be 441 psi.
