4 Cylinder Models (1972)
- Disconnect electrical connection at idle stop solenoid. With solenoid de-energized, adjust idle speed screw on low step of cam to obtain low idle speed RPM as specified.
- Make sure dwell and timing are correct. Reconnect solenoid, open throttle momentarily and adjust solenoid plunger screw to obtain specified curb idle speed RPM with solenoid energized.
