Preliminary Procedure It is only necessary to lower the headliner. Only do those steps in the headliner replacement procedure that will lower the headliner enough to gain access to the part. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
1	Luggage Carrier Side Rail Nut [ 4x ] CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Reposition the wiring harness. Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Luggage Carrier Side Rail Procedure Transfer components as necessary. Water test the vehicle for leaks on the side of the vehicle that the side rail was replaced. Install the headlining trim panel. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement Verify the sunroof is operating properly.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Reposition the wiring harness.

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Procedure

Transfer components as necessary.
Water test the vehicle for leaks on the side of the vehicle that the side rail was replaced.
Install the headlining trim panel. Headlining Trim Panel Replacement
Verify the sunroof is operating properly.
