Installation Procedure

  1. With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument panel tie bar into the vehicle.
  2. Install the instrument panel wiring harness to the position noted in the removal procedure.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Heater and Air Conditioning Evaporator and Blower Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 4x ] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    Instrument Panel Tie Bar Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

    Brake Pedal Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [ 2x ] 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
