Installation Procedure

  1. Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing- Front (4)
    1. Install the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket bearing (4) using the J-8092  Driver Handle (1) and DT-48211  Drive Sprocket Bearing Installer (2).
    2. Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.
    3. Using an arbor press or hammer, install the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket bearing (4) until the tool bottoms on the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket.
  2. Transfer Case Front Output Shaft Drive Sprocket Bearing - Rear (3)
    1. Install the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket bearing (3) using the J-8092  Driver Handle (1) and DT-48211  Drive Sprocket Bearing Installer (2).
    2. Ensure the flat edge of the bearing is facing upward.
    3. Using an arbor press or hammer, install the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket bearing (3) until the tool bottoms on the transfer case front output shaft drive sprocket.
