Circuit/System Verification

- Ignition - On/Vehicle - In Service Mode
- Verify the scan tool parameter: 9V Reference 1 Circuit Status = OK
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Engine - Running
- Transmission - Park
- Increase the engine speed slowly to 2, 500 RPM and then back to idle.
Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission ISS - The value should change smoothly and gradually as the engine speed is increased and decreased.
- If the value does not change smoothly and gradually

- Go to next step: If the value changes smoothly and gradually
- If the value does not change smoothly and gradually
- Drive Wheels - Blocked
- Parking Brake - Applied
- Transmission - Reverse
- Verify the scan tool parameter: Transmission ISS = 0 RPM
- If not the specified state

- Go to next step: If the specified state
- If not the specified state
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
Verify the DTC does not set.
- If the DTC sets

- If the DTC sets
- All OK.
